Many pets have come and gone through my life over the years. The ones on this page hold a very special place in my heart.

JOE

Joe was both my first Chihuahua and my first hearing dog. I was a teenager when I recieved him. A grad school graduate when he left me. He gave me the ability to leave home for the first time and venture out into the world as an independant adult. The sense of security and safety he brought to me can only be understood by others who have service animals.

My name is Cookie. I am a free spirit...sometimes a little too free. I use to have a love of the road till one day a car hit me. I lost an eye, but thankfully, the vet was able to save my life. I was then confined to the fenced in back yard, but I am too smart for that...it held me for about a day before I dug my way out. After several successful escapes, I am now on a runner. Not fair! I am the only one in the family who is confined!
update: Cookies love of the road finally claimed her life on December 30, 2006, after a week of constant escapes. She was burried in our pet cemetary on New Years Eve.

Puddin went to the bridge on  September 17th, 2009. Puddy was my special kitty. My spoilt baby who thought the world revolved around making her happy. She wouldn't hunt and she was very jelous if any other cat came around. She was one of those "all about me" girls who loved to give and get attention and loving. She will be sorely missed.

Little Bit-o-Honey

Honey's time with us was much to short. He was the mate of Ginger, shown on the chis page. Upon his death, Ginger suffered a great deal of depression and anxiety, just as I did. Never believe for a moment that animals can not feel a loss.

chip.jpg

Chip was one of the sweetest boys ever. He came to me as a stray pup. One day we heard a whinning noise and found this cute little 4 week old pup under an old storage building. 3 days later, we found his mom and 7 litter mates. Mom wouldn't take him back...I guess she had to many and he was the smallest. Sometimes they will abandon the smallest if they can't care for them all. We found homes for the others, but kept Chip. He was suppose to stay in the back yard in the fence, but he always got out and then would get back in when he saw me comming, lol. It was realy cute the way he would put himself back up.

CANDY
I was the only kitten my human or 4-legged mom has ever raised from birth up! Makes me special! I am a great mouser....just like my momma. Candy was killed by the neighbor's labs on May 26, 2007. She was Taffy's daughter.
